Level 1 Flow (Vinyasa)
For beginning students & those interested in a less vigorous class. Expect more instruction on alignment and posture. Vinyasa is a dynamic sequence of sun salutations and traditional Hatha yoga poses linked by breath. It integrates awareness, alignment, balance, strength, flexibility and grace.
All Levels Flow (Vinyasa)
For students with some experience who want a slightly more vigorous class than Level 1. Options and modifications provided. Vinyasa is a dynamic sequence of sun salutations and traditional Hatha yoga poses linked by breath. It integrates awareness, alignment, balance, strength, flexibility and grace.
Level 2 Flow
For students with a solid physical practice who are looking for a more rigorous experience. This class is not for beginners. We flow through sun salutations and traditional Hatha poses at a fast pace with some offerings of advanced asana.
This class is a mix of gentle vinyasa (flowing sequence of postures) and yin poses to help calm your body and mind as we approach the end of the day. Although the class is generally a combination of both styles, we will remain fluid with the structure and may lean more heavily towards gentle vinyasa or the practice of yin yoga on some days. A great class for calming the mind, winding down and de-stressing.
Yin yoga features seated and reclining poses passively held 3-5 minutes and focuses on releasing deep connective tissue; this approach marries asana and meditation to create a very deep and quiet practice, suitable for all levels.
A practice designed to release stress and rejuvenate the body and mind. The postures are supported using blocks, blankets, or other props and are held for several minutes at a time. The more fully one feels supported, the greater the sense of relaxation. This practice is recommended for beginners, anyone suffering from injuries or stress, or to balance a more vigorous practice. Appropriate for all levels.
This group setting is designed to teach one-pointed, non-dualistic meditation. The word Samadhi means to acquire integration or truth. All level of meditators are welcome. No experience necessary. Instruction provided to beginners.
Yin Yang flow level 1
For a completely integrated practice, this class combines a strong, heating, ‘Yang’ vinyasa flow with the quiet, cooling ‘Yin’ aspects of relaxing restorative poses. Yin postures are held longer to cultivate a meditative mindset and deeper physical opening. Because this class includes a flow sequence, it’s best suited for students who are already comfortable practicing vinyasa.
