We’re glad you’re considering joining one of our classes!
Your first class is free and there is no need to call ahead or register. The studio is spacious so there will be enough room.
Come a few minutes early to your first class so that you can talk with the teacher and collect any props (mat, bolster, etc.) needed for the class. Also, be sure to let the instructor know if you have any injuries or restrictions.
If you are a beginner, we recommend you consider our Level 1 classes.
Wear comfortable clothing that will not restrict your breath or movement. At least part of your class will be active so don’t dress too warmly.
Eat sparingly (or not at all) within two hours before class. We have hot tea available during classes but you may want to bring your own bottle of water.
Mats and any necessary props will be available during class, but for hygienic reasons we suggest that you bring you own mat if you continue to attend class.
Some of instructors are trained to give each student personalized attention. During class they may re-position you so that your alignment is correct to remain safe and may achieve the full benefit of the pose. Please inform the teacher if hands-on assists are not OK with you.
Come with a willingness to try new things. Be open. Be present. We can’t wait to see you on the mat!
